I can’t log in to Recipe Cloud — troubleshooting steps

Quick answer: Most login problems come down to the wrong email, an outdated password, or a stale session. Work through the steps below. If you're still stuck, reset your password or submit a support request.

Step 1: Confirm you're using the right email

Recipe Cloud sign-in uses the email address on your account, not your display name or username.

  • Try any email addresses you may have used when you signed up.
  • If you subscribed through Apple, you may have signed up with a Hide My Email address—check Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Hide My Email on your iPhone.

Step 2: Reset your password

If you're unsure of your password, request a reset link:

Web

  1. Go to recipecloudapp.com/sign-in/
  2. Click Forgot Password, or open recipecloudapp.com/reset/ directly
  3. Enter your account email and submit
  4. Check your inbox and spam folder for the reset email
  5. Follow the link to set a new password, then sign in again

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Recipe Cloud app
  2. On Sign In, tap Forgot email or password?
  3. Enter your email and follow the instructions in the reset email

Step 3: Sign out completely, then sign back in

If you were signed in before and things stopped working:

  1. Sign out everywhere you're currently signed in (web and app)
  2. Close the app or browser tab completely
  3. Sign in again with your email and current password

On the web, try a private/incognito window to rule out cached login issues.

Step 4: Try another browser or the app

Step 5: Check your connection

Recipe Cloud needs an internet connection to sign in and sync. Confirm you're online, then try again.

Step 6: Update the app

On iPhone or iPad, open the App Store → Updates and install the latest version of Recipe Cloud, then try signing in again.
