Quick answer: Yes. Recipe Cloud Plus subscriptions on a monthly or annual plan renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Where you subscribed—on the website or through the iOS app—determines where you manage billing and turn off renewal.

Short answer

If you have an active monthly or annual Recipe Cloud Plus subscription, it will automatically renew and you will be charged again for the next billing period unless you cancel first.

If you cancel, your Plus access usually continues until the end of the current billing period, and the subscription will not renew after that.

Where you subscribed matters

Recipe Cloud Plus can be purchased in two places. Billing and cancellation follow that purchase path.

Subscribed on the website

If you upgraded through recipecloudapp.com:

  • Your subscription is billed through Recipe Cloud on the web.
  • It auto-renews each billing period until you cancel.
  • To review renewal timing or cancel, open Account Settings and go to Manage Subscription.
  • You may see a note such as Your plan auto-renews on a specific date. If you have already canceled, you may see when the plan will end instead.

Use Cancel subscription in Account Settings to stop future renewals.

Subscribed through the iOS app

If you upgraded in the Recipe Cloud app on iPhone or iPad:

  • Your subscription is billed through Apple.
  • It auto-renews through Apple unless you turn off auto-renewal before the renewal date.
  • Manage or cancel it in iOS Settings → Subscriptions, or from the Recipe Cloud app under My Settings → Manage Subscriptions → Manage subscription.

The web app cannot cancel an Apple-billed subscription for you. Use Apple’s subscription settings instead.

Subscriptions that do not renew

Some Plus accounts do not auto-renew, including:

  • Lifetime or other complimentary Plus access granted by Recipe Cloud
  • Accounts on the free plan (no paid subscription)

If you have lifetime or complimentary Plus, you will not be charged on a recurring billing cycle.

Important to know

  • Cancel before the renewal date if you do not want to be charged for the next period.
  • Canceling does not end access immediately in most cases—you typically keep Plus until the current billing period ends.
  • Deleting the app or logging out does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through the website or Apple, depending on where you subscribed.
  • Deleting your Recipe Cloud account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel Plus first, then delete your account if needed.
