Quick answer: You can permanently delete your Recipe Cloud account from the iOS app under Account settings. Deletion removes your recipes, collections, meal plans, shopping list, and preferences and cannot be undone. If you prefer not to use the app, email [email protected] and we can help.
Before you delete
Deleting your account is permanent. You will lose:
- Saved recipes and collections (recipe books)
- Meal planner entries
- Shopping list items
- Account preferences and profile details
You cannot recover this data after account deletion.
If you have an active Recipe Cloud Plus subscription billed through Apple or the website, the app may ask you to cancel that subscription first. After Plus has ended, tap Refresh status in the delete flow and try again.
Delete your account on iOS
- Open the Recipe Cloud app and sign in.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner of the main screen.
- On My Profile, tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap Account.
- Scroll down and tap Delete my account.
- Read the warning, then type delete in the confirmation field.
- Tap Delete My Account.
When deletion finishes, you are signed out and your account is removed.
If you change your mind before confirming, tap Go Back or close the screen.
Need help deleting your account?
If you cannot use the iOS app, run into an error, or would rather have us handle it, email [email protected] from the address on your Recipe Cloud account. Include a short note that you want your account deleted. Do not send your password.
Tips
- If deletion is blocked because Plus is still active, cancel the subscription first (through Apple Subscriptions or your Recipe Cloud billing settings, depending on where you subscribed), then use Refresh status in the delete screen.
- After deletion, you can create a new account with the same email address if you return later—it will be a fresh account with no previous data.
