How do I reset my password?

Quick answer: Recipe Cloud resets your password by email. Request a reset link from the web app or iOS app, open the email, follow the link, and choose a new password. Use the same new password when you sign in on the web and in the iOS app.

How it works

Recipe Cloud does not let you type a new password directly in settings. Whether you are signed in or signed out, the app sends a reset link to the email address on your account. Open that link and follow the steps to set a new password.

Use the email address you use to sign in to Recipe Cloud.

Web app:

If you are not signed in

  1. Go to recipecloudapp.com/sign-in/.
  2. Click Forgot Password (or, you can also open recipecloudapp.com/reset/ directly).
  3. Enter your email address and click Reset Password.
  4. Check your email for a message from Recipe Cloud.
  5. Open the link in the email and follow the instructions to set a new password.
  6. Return to Sign In and log in with your new password.

If you are already signed in

  1. Open Account Settings.You can also click your profile picture in the top navigation and choose Account Settings.
  2. Under Manage Account Details, find Password.
  3. Click Reset.
  4. Confirm Send link when asked.
  5. Check your email and follow the link to set a new password.

iOS app:

If you are not signed in

  1. Open the Recipe Cloud app.
  2. On the Sign In screen, tap Reset under Forgot email or password?
  3. Enter your email address and tap Reset My Password.
  4. Check your email for a reset link from Recipe Cloud.
  5. Follow the link to set a new password, then return to the app and sign in.

If you are already signed in

  1. Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner of the main screen.
  2. On My Profile, tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Account.
  4. Next to Password, tap Reset.
  5. Tap Send reset link when asked.
  6. Check your email and follow the link to set a new password.

You need an email address saved on your account before you can request a reset while signed in.

After you reset

Sign in again on each device with your new password. Your recipes and account data stay the same—only your password changes.

Tips

  • Check your spam or junk folder if the email does not arrive within a few minutes.
  • Make sure you enter the same email address you used when you created your Recipe Cloud account.
  • Reset links expire after a while. If a link no longer works, request a new one.
  • Never share your password or reset link with anyone.
