How to share my meal plan with someone

Recipe Cloud

Last Modified: June 17, 2026

Quick answer: Open Meal Planner on iPhone or iPad, tap ⋯, then Share Plan to text, email, print, or copy your week—or tap Copy Plan to put it on your clipboard in one step.

What gets shared

Recipe Cloud formats your plan as plain text: the week title, then each day with meals listed by type (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, etc.) and recipe or custom meal names.

Example:

RecipeCloud meal plan — This Week

Monday

• Breakfast: Oatmeal

• Dinner: Honey Soy Salmon

Tuesday

• Lunch: Leftovers

...

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open the Planner tab.
  2. Go to the week you want to share.
  3. Tap ⋯ in the top-right corner.
  4. Choose how to share:

Share Plan (text, email, print, and more)

Tap Share Plan. The iOS share sheet opens with your plan as text. From there you can:

  • Text — tap Messages (or another messaging app) and pick a contact.
  • Email — tap Mail, add a recipient, and send.
  • Print — tap Print to send to a printer or save as PDF.
  • Copy — tap Copy to put the plan on your clipboard, then paste anywhere.

You can also share to Notes, Reminders, and other apps in the share sheet.

Copy Plan (clipboard)

Tap Copy Plan. The plan is copied immediately and you’ll see Copied to Clipboard. Paste it into a text message, email, note, or anywhere else.

Tips

  • Share the week you’re viewing—use the week arrows to move to This Week or another week first.
  • Share Plan and Copy Plan include the visible week only, not your grocery list. To share ingredients, create a shopping list from your plan first.
  • Recipients get a text summary—they don’t need a Recipe Cloud account to read it.
